This is a late breaking news story from the Hartley Home...
Do you ever feel this way? What I mean is, so much in our family changes from day to day. Even more than that hour to hour, minute to minute. Someone was fine yesterday and wakes up with a 103 fever. People call and have great opportunities that change the entire days plan. The children arrive home from school with tons of new events a, progress reports, and a day full of news. The cat falls in the tub, the two year old throws the cell phone in the toilet, your husband calls with changes at work. It just keeps coming! What is hard is when friends and family like to keep up and ask the questions, " What's New?" HAHAHA, I have to laugh a little because what isn't NEW? I love keeping up with family! How many times have I asked that question to a friend? In my experience though the clock hits 9:00 p.m. and a switch gets flipped in my brain...the switch is OFF!!! Then, I no longer remember all those little events of the day, unless I write them down for safe keeping. All of this to say, check in when you get a chance to get the scoop of the day. Sometimes, I do think I need one of those camera crews like on Kate, plus eight, or The Dugger Family 19 and Counting. Just to capture all the fun events and be able to recall all that happens. I would not like how ever all of it to be public news! At least the people closest to me could reference what it is we do all day around here. Remembering, Chaos is just change trying to happen!
