You are worth more than many sparrows...

Matthew 10:29-31

29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.[a] 30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Life on Purpose - A Familiar Concept!

Good Morning! This is not a foreign concept to me, " LIFE ON PURPOSE!" Due to the hecticness of our lives over the past few years and a passel of children I've lost my way in doing this. It takes a little more brain power to think of creative things that make living a little more on purpose than just going through the routine of urgency!!!! I remember when my now 13 year old was about 2, when Daddy would return from work. We would STOP and I would say, " Daddy is home!" We would stop what we were doing a greet him at the door. My son would get so excited and give my husband the biggest hug! That is what I'm talking about here... stopping in our tracks and thinking what would make this moment more special! How can I treat another individual more lovingly!  I recently have noticed my 7 year old being really stressed. Yesterday, she mentioned some of the things that were bothering her. Today, I want to on purpose sit with her and possibly journal out her feelings. Maybe I can heal a hurt or say I'm sorry. It takes more time to live on purpose! I defiantly feel it's worth it. Our urgent society has us running from one thing to the next, never are we doing enough. The hard thing is when you take life a little slower, some times were looked upon as lazy or even spoiled! I have made a few changes in my life this month. I was thinking of going back to work, but that was just adding one more huge thing to my families plate. Instead for as long as i can, I'm staying home and working on being at peace. Making our home a place were my family want to be! I'm hoping to have some time to start living my life on purpose again! Taking the things I rush through or even things I have set on the back burner that I want to do and making some new priorities! I know I am more passionate, kind, creative, and loving when I am slower. It may not always be comfortable this way, because we are used to the rush. It's worth it! I'm sure of it! Give it a try!

Deuteronomy 31:8 It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
